MMOPulse is run by a core team of veteran game journalists, dedicated website developers and a handful of freelance game reviewers, news reporters and columnists with experience in the massively multiplayer online games industry and community.
Please inquire through our Contact page in regards to open positions. We look for writers that are involved with the gaming community or industry and aim for long-term and quality performance!

Freelance Opportunities
STATUS: Not hiring at this time
MMOs, especially MMORPGs take a lot of time to grasp and even more so to thoroughly review. MMOPulse looks for writers who can play games extensively and give fair and unbiased reviews.
Freelance Reviewer Requirements:
- Reviewers must have excellent ability to write in English.
- Reviewers must have previous writing experience (flexible requirement).
- Reviewers cannot be currently employed or have been employed at any time by the company whose game they are reviewing or by direct competitors of that company.
- Reviewers must be involved in the online game industry and/or community.
- Reviewers must be able to meet the agenda agreed upon between MMOPulse and each writer.
- Reviewers must provide contact information.
Review Article Requirements:
- Each review article must be between 2,000 and 3,000 words.
- Reviews must be based on a minimum of one week of dedicated play time of the game being reviewed.
- Review articles must be written in English.
- Relevant media such as screenshots and videos must be integrated within each article.
Base Payment: $10 will be paid for each review.
Bonus Payment: A bonus of $1 will be added for every 1,000 unique page views within the first 7 days of publication, with a limit of $5 per review.
Payment Schedule: Payments for each review are sent 14-30 days after each review’s publish date.

News reporters write about the latest news in the massively multiplayer online video game industry and community.
News Reporter Requirements:
- News reporters must have excellent ability to write in English.
- News reporters must have previous writing experience.
- News reporters cannot be currently employed or have been employed at any time by any online video game developer or publisher.
- News reporters must be involved in the online game industry and/or community.
- News reporters must be able to meet the agenda agreed upon by MMOPulse and each writer.
- News reporters writers must provide contact information.
News Article Requirements:
- Each news article article must be between 800 and 2,000 words.
- News articles must provide source(s) within the article or state an excuse in the event of having no source(s).
- News articles must be written in English.
- Relevant media such as screenshots and videos must be integrated within each article.
Base Payment: $8 will be paid for each news article.
Bonus Payment: A bonus of $1 will be added for every 1,000 unique page views within the first 7 days of publication, with a limit of $3 per article.

An columnist is a writer of a series of articles that offer commentary and opinions on anything within the massively multiplayer online video game industry.
Columnist Requirements:
- Columnists must have excellent ability to write in English.
- Columnists must have previous writing experience.
- Columnists cannot be currently employed or have been employed at any time by any online video game developer or publisher.
- Columnists must be involved in the online game industry and/or community.
- Columnists must be able to meet the agenda agreed upon by MMOPulse and each writer.
- Columnists writers must provide contact information.
Column Article Requirements:
- Each column article must be between 2,000 and 3,000 words.
- Reviews must be based on a minimum of one week of dedicated pay time of the game being reviewed.
- Column articles must be written in English.
- Relevant media such as screenshots and videos must be integrated within each article.

Volunteer Website Moderators are responsible for general moderation and ensuring that all rules are upheld within the MMOPulse website.

Volunteer Discord Moderators are responsible for general moderation and ensuring that all rules are upheld within the MMOPulse Discord server.
Powers:
- Warn, Silence, Move, Kick and Ban Discord members
- Delete messages
- Use @everyone and @here
Writers have the right to revise or update their articles at any time and manage comments and messages in regard to his/her articles.
Writers have the right to publish their articles on other sites as long as the article specifies that it was originally posted on MMOPulse and is co-owned by MMOPulse.
Writers can request for the complete removal of their articles with the exception of articles commissioned and fully paid for by MMOPulse.
Writers must guarantee that their articles are original and comply with our User Agreement.
Writers must guarantee that they own the copyright of the articles they publish or submit for publishing. Writers are responsible for any copyright disputes caused by reprinting, plagiarism or quotation. MMOPulse may take action as stated in our User Agreement.
Writers must publish their articles on MMOPulse before any other site if they wish to publish on multiple sites.
