Earlier this year, Amazon Game Studios announced that their 17th Century MMORPG New World will no longer follow a free-for-all full loot PvP system. While PvP will still play an important part in the game, players will have to opt-in to take part.
Last Oasis debuted on Steam as an early access title on March 26th. The post-apocalyptic survival sandbox MMO has since been berated by Steam reviewers for having poor server capacity. Many players reported being unable to play due to long wait times and client crashes.
Amazon Game Studios has released a new developer’s diary video for New World showcasing the game’s combat systems. The upcoming sandbox MMORPG will offer a dynamic action combat. There will be no classes. Instead, players will gain skill trees for each weapon that they choose to wield. The dev team wants the experience you get from wielding each weapon “to be so different, depending on the choice you make, that it almost feels like a class choice”.
Dragon Raja, the open world MMORPG played on mobile devices is coming out this month. Originally launched in China last year, the game is set to release in America and Europe on February 27th, 2020. Pre-registration is available now on both the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store.
Dragon Raja boasts a fierce real-time combat system with diverse PvP systems. Players can take part in “duels, battlegrounds that hold hundreds of players, and guild matches”. Created with Unreal Engine 4, Dragon Raja’s open world simulates physical collision systems and optical motion capture technology. The graphics, combat, and character customization is similar to Tencent’s Revelation Online.
Pearl Abyss has released a new trailer for Black Desert showcasing the combat style of the upcoming Guardian class. The video was posted on Black Desert’s Korean YouTube channel. The Guardian is seen using several AoE attacks, grabs, and a teleport skill as a gap closer.
Pearl Abyss is wasting no time to get content out to players of the action-packed MMORPG Black Desert Mobile with the release of the first major content update. The update expands the world by opening the new region of South Mediah.
To add to the hype of revealing the release date for the upcoming open world MMO New World, developer and publisher Amazon Game Studios has posted a new developer diary video. The video on YouTube talks about the development that went into New World and shows off concept art and in-game footage.
Pearl Abyss has announced the launch date for the new female melee character to join Black Desert. On January 22 of new year, players can begin their journeys as the new Guardian class in Black Desert Online. Pre-registration begins on December 24th.
