As Ashes of Creation heads towards its first alpha test this month for the first group of its Kickstarter backers, developer Intrepid Studios eagerly share new gameplay footage and answer questions from the game’s community.
Intrepid Studios Creative Director Steven Sharif has announced that Ashes of Creation will begin limited alpha one testing in May. Invites will be sent out in waves to the Alpha One backers of the crowd-funded MMO. Their goal is to “have the Alpha One game client ready for full testing in Fall of 2020”.
Ashes of Creation: Apocalypse, the battle-royale standalone spin-off of the upcoming sandbox MMORPG Ashes of Creation has rolled out a game update that adds a new map and UI improvements. The new map, called Forest of Erinthia is a winter biome map that contains vast enchanted woods. More environments will be added to Apocalypse as the game makes its way to adding Castle Sieges and Horde Mode.
Intrepid Studios has announced that a 12-hour playtest for Ashes of Creation: Apocalypse will take place on August 20th from 11am to 11pm Pacific Time. Apocalypse is the standalone battle royale version of the Ashes of Creation MMORPG.
Ashes of Creation Apocalypse invites all to play the game for an open stress test. On February 7th, from 1:00 pm Pacific to 6:00 pm Pacific, players will be able to login and play the battle royale standalone game.
Intrepid Studios states that the purpose of the test is primarily for optimization and stress testing, so there will not be any patch notes. Nevertheless, reporting bugs is encouraged. To join, register for the open beta and download the latest patch.
Intrepid Studios has announced that the second open beta for Ashes of Creation: Apocalypse will be live from January 24th, 10am Pacific until January 27th 10pm Pacific. Ashes of Creation: Apocalypse is the battle royale standalone version of the sandbox MMORPG Ashes of Creation. To join, all you have to do is register here and download the latest patch.

Intrepid Studios has released a preview of the Castle Siege maps that will be added to Ashes of Creation: Apocalypse, the standalone battle royale version of the MMORPG Ashes of Creation.
The sneak peak below shows off the various siege equipment like battering rams, catapults, trebuchets, and giant arrows that players will use to siege each other’s castles. The video is only a map preview so no characters or actual gameplay were shown yet. Castle sieges will be a part of the Ashes of Creation MMORPG as well.
