Final Fantasy XIV Is Coming To Xbox One
During Xbox X019, the annual Xbox celebration event held in London, Phil Spencer, the head executive of Microsoft’s Xbox division confirmed that Square Enix‘s popular MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV will be coming to the Xbox One console. No details or release dates have been mentioned.
While speaking to the press, Spencer said, “I wanted you to know, rest assured that we will be bringing that game [FFXIV] to Xbox. We have a great relationship with Yoshida-san and we’re working through what it means to bring [to Xbox] a cross-platform MMO that they’ve run for years.”
FFXIV is currently on its third expansion and is available now on PC and PlayStation 4. The game has a very high player count with over 16 million registered users and between ~10,000 average players on the Steam platform alone. The latest expansion for the game titled Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers expands the game’s world with more regions, new quests, stories, and much more.
