Bandai Namco Delays Blue Protocol CBT Due To Coronavirus, Global Release Confirmed
Bandai Namco has announced that the closed beta testing of the upcoming Japanese anime MMORPG Blue Protocol has been delayed. Testing was supposed to begin in March 2020. The developer wishes to “prevent the spread of the new coronavirus and to ensure the safety of operation and development staff.”
Blue Protocol is currently only being made for Japan, but during a recent Q&A video, the Bandai team revealed that the game is planned to have a global release, so it will come to the West sometime in the future. The Japan closed beta is now expected to occur in mid-April 2020 or later. It is possible that they will change the schedule again.
