Black Desert Is Launching On PlayStation 4 On August 22nd

Pearl Abyss has announced that Black Desert is launching on another console next month! On August 22nd, the popular sandbox action MMORPG will be playable on the PlayStation 4 console.

First announced in E3, the launch on PlayStation 4 will be the second console release for the game. Black Desert became available on Xbox One earlier this year which broke its four year long exclusivity on PC. There are no news yet of any plans for Black Desert to take on the third console giant, the Nintendo Switch.

PlayStation 4 players can already purchase one of three Pre-order packages priced at $29.99, $49.99 and $99.99. Pre-ordering the game will give players a 48 hour early access headstart.

Black Desert features six playable classes at launch, each with their own unique playstyle: the Warrior, Ranger, Sorceress, Berserker, Wizard, and Witch. Paired with an extensive character creation system, you have the ability to become your true self in Black Desert, or someone else entirely! A unique real-time combat system allows you to show off your abilities on the battlefield against mobs of imps, groups of bandits, or even go toe-to-toe with massive world bosses.
