Superhero Action MMO DC Universe Online Is Coming To Nintendo Switch In The Summer

DC Universe Online, Daybreak‘s superhero-themed MMORPG set in various DC universes is headed to the Nintendo Switch console and it will be free-to-play! A release date has not been announced yet, but the game is expected to arrive in Summer 2019. The Switch will be the game’s fourth platform alongside PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC.

There will not be any crossplay options between the Nintendo Switch version and PC/console versions of DC Universe Online. Players will connect to brand-new DCUO servers with their Nintendo Accounts. More information will be revealed as we get closer to the release.

DC Universe Online is a superhero-themed MMORPG set in the various universes of DC Comics. Players create and play their very own superhero character and venture into prominent DC Comics locations. Well-known DC characters like Batman, Superman, Flash and Wonder Woman play the roles of friends or foes.

EverQuest Next is an MMORPG or ‘massively multiplayer online role-playing game’ that was meant to be the game to succeed the EverQuest franchise. The game was intended to be a parallel universe to the EverQuest world. The project has been cancelled by its developer Daybreak Game Company since 016. Development was discontinued due to lack of fun.
