Amazon Announced Launch Date For Open World MMORPG New World

On December 12th, Amazon Game Studios announced the launch date of the upcoming 16th – 17th century fantasy MMORPG New World at The Game Awards 2019 event held in Los Angeles. The open world MMO is fully launching in May 2020. The final business model for the game has not been announced yet.

The game now also has a Steam Page which states a closed beta in April 2020. Two pre-order packs priced at $39.99 and $49.99 are now being offered on Steam. Both packs include access to the closed beta, in-game titles, emotes, and more. Check out the Steam page for more details.
