From now until November 13th, the base version of the popular MMORPG The Elder Scrolls Online is free to play on all platforms. The game is playable on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. This allows gamers to get a glimpse of ESO’s content and gameplay before embarking in the game’s several buy-to-play expansions such as the new Dragonhold DLC that released just weeks ago.
If you’ve played ESO during a previous free play event, you can continue your adventures, and all new ESO accounts created will also receive 500 crowns to spend in the in-game Crown Store. Note that Xbox Live Gold is required to play on Xbox One.
After the trial period, the base game and the Morrowind chapter can be purchased for $9.99. You can also acquire The Elder Scrolls Online Standard Edition with a 50% off discount for a limited time until Monday, December 2nd for all platforms except PlayStation4, which ends on Wednesday, November 13th.
