Sandbox Action MMO Fractured Alpha 1 – Test 2 Begins On July 10th

Indie developer Dynamight Studios has announced that their sandbox action MMORPG Fractured will begin its second Alpha 1 test (Alpha 1 – Testing 2) on Wednesday, July 10, at 4pm CEST (10am EDT).

While Fractured’s Alpha Test 1 in April was focused on collecting mechanics feedback and server stability testing, Alpha Test 2 will focus on adding new content to the game. New content includes new creatures, spells, housing, and crafting. For more details, visit the game’s Test 2 roadmap.

Fractured Continues Crowdfunding With Pledge Packs On Site Store After Successful Kickstarter

Dynamight Studios has rebooted their crowdfunding for the upcoming SpatialOS-based sandbox MMO Fractured. For those who missed out on the successful Kickstarter campaign in July of this year, a new store has been opened on the official Fractured site that will allow supporters to contribute towards the development of the game by purchasing basic pledge packs. The packs currently range from €20 to €300 and will grant access to various testing phases.

Fractured MMO Releases Pre-Alpha Gameplay Teaser In Preparation Of Kickstarter On June 25th

Indie developer Dynamight Studios has alerted us that they have released a new pre-alpha gameplay video for Fractured, their sandbox MMO that is currently in development. The trailer is the first of a series of three pre-alpha gameplay videos. The Kickstarter campaign for Fractured will official start on June 25th.

The video shows developer gameplay footage of a hunt in a swamp area. The rest of the gameplay teasers will be released next week. Additionally, a new media page has been added to the Fractured site that shows off a dozen screenshots of the game.

Fractured MMO Has Revealed Package Prices & Rewards Preview For Upcoming Kickstarter Campaign

Before Dynamight Studios launches the crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter for Fractured, their in-development “anti-grind” sandbox isometric MMORPG, they have decided to release a preview of the prices and contents of the Pledge Packs. The packs range from €5 to €10,000 in price with the digital copy of Fractured as a reward for those that purchase the €25 pack. These are only previews of the packs and Dynamight states that they want to hear your opinions on the fairness of the packages before the campaign goes live.

In an hour-long Q&A, Indie developer Dynamight Studios’ CEO Jacopo Pietro Gallelli has shared new information in regards to their vision for Fractured, the upcoming class-less isometric MMORPG with a fully interactable open sandbox environment. Fractured forum user Vengu has created a summary of the session categorized into topics.

Dynamight Studios shared that they have no concerns about the game, but they do have business concerns. They openly admit that they are a young team, not well-known developers with a large following just by name alone. They are showing as much of the game as possible to assure players that they can make Fractured and that their vision for the game is clear, an action MMORPG with a strong sandbox economy.
