Nexon Is Shutting Down Mobile MMORPG Durango Wild Lands At The End Of The Year
Through a developer’s letter posted on Facebook by Yunseok Yi (Executive Producer of What!Studio) and Seungmyeong Yang (Producer of Durango: Wild Lands), Nexon has officially announced the end Durango: Wild Lands. Service for the mobile sandbox MMORPG will end on December 18, 2019. In-app purchases have already been disabled.
Durango: Wild Lands is an open world MMO that lets you roam a vast, prehistoric and mysterious land filled with dinosaurs. Discover sprawling islands and regions filled with beasts to hunt or tame.
Development for the game will continue until the game’s termination at the end of the year. The finale of Durango’s storyline is being prepared. The final chapter will tie to the beginning of the story and will be available through quests.
“In order to experience the many contents in Durango: Wild Lands, one needed to invest time and effort. Now, considering that we’re near the end, we are preparing an update that will bring in a way to enjoy the various contents in a short amount of time. But at the same time, we will try our best not to diminish the gameplay of the past.”
