Warlords Awakening Aka ELOA Re-Release Is Shutting Down After Less Than A Year

Warlords-Awakening-Shutting-Down-But-Free-To-Play-For-a-Little-While

Warlords Awakening, the re-release of the MMORPG Elite Lord of Alliance will cease service on June 28th. The game launched on Steam as Warlords Awakening less than one year ago on July 26, 2018. Until the official shut down, the game will be free-to-play with all in-game cash shop purchases disabled.

The publishing team released Warlords Awakening as a buy-to-play game despite it being free-to-play when it was still titled Elite Lord of Alliance. This decision, among other reasons, resulted in their failure to acquire any significant playerbase. Below is a table of player counts by month for Warlords Awakening from Steamcharts.
