Developer Jagex has launched the mobile version of the long-running MMORPG RuneScape into Early Access. RuneScape Mobile is now available for download on the the Google play store for Android users. iOS mobile users will need to wait until sometime next year. The game is also set to fully launch in 2020.
WarpPortal has announced that Ragnarok Online (iRO) will be suspended for two months to make way for a massive “mega-update”. The iRO team was given the option to receive several updates all at once with a focus on improvements on quality of life and day-to-day adventuring in Midgard.
The iRO update will include “about a dozen game-system and quality of life updates such as Daily Login rewards, a tried and tested Anti-Cheat system, the long awaited pet evolution system, and much more”.
Through a developer’s letter posted on Facebook by Yunseok Yi (Executive Producer of What!Studio) and Seungmyeong Yang (Producer of Durango: Wild Lands), Nexon has officially announced the end Durango: Wild Lands. Service for the mobile sandbox MMORPG will end on December 18, 2019. In-app purchases have already been disabled.
ArcheAge: Unchained, the proclaimed “no pay-to-win” buy-to-play iteration of one of the best sandbox MMORPG of all time is finally launching tomorrow, October 15th, at 10AM PDT for NA and 10AM UTC for EU. The release was initially meant to arrive on September 30th, but was pushed back to ensure that game mechanics will be balanced from the start.
Ashes of Creation: Apocalypse, the battle-royale standalone spin-off of the upcoming sandbox MMORPG Ashes of Creation has rolled out a game update that adds a new map and UI improvements. The new map, called Forest of Erinthia is a winter biome map that contains vast enchanted woods. More environments will be added to Apocalypse as the game makes its way to adding Castle Sieges and Horde Mode.
KoG Games has added a game changing update to KurtzPel: Bringer of Chaos that introduces a new character and karma weapon to the game. This latest update comes after the third round of player testing in Etheca Proving Grounds, an application-driver test server where players are able to test out different combos and playstyles and provide valuable feedback.
ZeniMax has announced that the prologue of the latest Elder Scrolls Online DLC titled Dragonhold is finally live on all platforms (PC/Mac, Xbox One, PlayStation 4)! The Dragonhold prologue questline does not require a DLC or Chapter purchase and is free for all ESO players.
On October 8th, Astellia Online‘s latest update introduced the new Class Evolution system which gives players the ability to “evolve” into one of three specializations. Additional experience points can now be earned by Level 50 players towards advancing their Star ranks in their chosen specializations.
