Dauntless Early Access Is Coming To An End With 1.0 Launch This Month
Phoenix Labs has announced that Dauntless, the action-packed monster-hunt multiplayer RPG will be leaving early access as it launches its 1.0 update on September 26th. The game hit early access on PS4 and Xbox One just months ago in May and already has plans to release on Nintendo Switch later this year.
Update 1.0, titled Aether Unbound will be the biggest update to the game so far. A new weapon called Aether Strikers will be added for players to wield. This will come in handy when facing the powerful new Dire Behemoth that now makes its way to the Shattered Isles.
“Aether Unbound will also offer a different way to hunt and earn valuable experience with the new bounty system, in addition to offering Slayers a new Hunt Pass packed with in-game rewards. Aether Unbound is just the beginning of an exciting new phase in the Dauntless journey.”
Phoenix Labs CEO and co-founder Jesse Houston comments that Aether Unbound “celebrates the culmination of the last 5 years of Dauntless development”. For the full letter, visit the official Dauntless site.
