Defiance 2050 Closed Beta Will Be On April 20 – Sign Ups Available

Fans of the sci-fi action MMORPG Defiance will be able to play the overhauled reboot of the game, Defiance 2050, next month! This next chapter in the Defiance universe will have its closed beta on April 20 to 22 for PC, Xbox One and PS4 players. The game is still set for a full release in the summer of this year.

Defiance 20-who? What is this game?

Initially announced last month in February, Defiance 2050 is a massively multiplayer sci-fi action shooter online game set in a post-apocalyptic world, packed with advanced ark technology. Players are able to team up in co-op events to explore the terraformed world, battle fellow Ark hunters or complete story missions.

The game will upgrade the graphics, resolutions and many game systems of the original Defiance MMORPG and offer a much larger scale. This doesn’t mean the game’s world will differ, however. The same world, characters and events will remain, but a new class and progression system will be implemented.

Defiance 2050 is being built as a free to play game, so everyone can explore the massive post-apocalyptic environment with cutting-edge graphics and new in-game systems. To expand your experience, we will also be offering a variety of optional purchasable cosmetics and items that are not tied to power, ensuring that all players are able to enjoy the Defiance 2050 experience on an even playing field.
