Defiance 2050 Delays Console Closed Beta, PC Closed Beta Still On April 20
Trion Worlds has announced that the console portion of Defiance 2050’s closed beta will be delayed to “optimize the experience for all players”. Defiance fan will still be able to play and test the closed beta on their PCs from April 20 to April 22 as originally scheduled.
Defiance 2050 is a massively multiplayer online sci-fi action shooter and is the overahauled reboot of its MMORPG counterpart Defiance. It is set in a post-apocalyptic world, packed with advanced ark technology. You team up in co-op activities to explore a terra-formed world, fight against fellow Ark hunters and complete hundreds story missions.
The change in schedule was announced officially via Defiance’s Twitter account.
The Defiance 2050 closed beta will run on PC this weekend (April 20 – 22). To best optimize the experience for all players, the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions are being moved to a later date. We’ll communicate the updated console beta as soon as we can. See you this weekend!
