I was an early supporter of Gloria Victis and recently (4/18/18) checked in on the games development. I logged in, made a character and ventured out into the world. It has made leaps and bounds from the first days of its early backer version.
The PvE elements and combat are not complete but there is a small but thriving PvP community that takes it very seriously. The game is clearly built around the PvP elements and it does them fairly well.
However, this is another early access game that needs time to improve, but I urge you to hop into the game and play around for a bit, thereby supporting developers that are trying something new in the MMO space, which is something we all need.
