Through a developer’s letter posted on Facebook by Yunseok Yi (Executive Producer of What!Studio) and Seungmyeong Yang (Producer of Durango: Wild Lands), Nexon has officially announced the end Durango: Wild Lands. Service for the mobile sandbox MMORPG will end on December 18, 2019. In-app purchases have already been disabled.
After years of staying under the radar, earlier in May of this year, a select group of players in Korea were finally chosen to conduct closed testing of Nexon’s sandbox MMORPG Peria Chronicles. Now, four months later, Korean news source Invenglobal reports that Nexon has announced that “after much discussion, the development of ‘Peria Chronicles’ is stopped.”
Several internal and external tests were conducted for Peria Chronicles and Nexon concluded that the current stage of the game could not satisfy players. The project is now cancelled.
Unreal Engine 3 MMORPG Astellia, previously known as Astellia Online will launch its second closed beta test for the North American release on July 30th, 12:00 am PDT. The test will run for one week in total, ending on August 6th, 8:00 am PDT.

Nexon has released the latest major content update to the popular mobile MMORPG MapleStory M. Players are introduced to two new Explorer classes; the Buccaneer and the Marksman.
A select group of beta testers in South Korea are now playing Nexon‘s long-awaited cel-shaded sandbox MMORPG Peria Chronicles! The beta began earlier today and will be running until May 12th. Testing is scheduled to run for 8 hours per day in the first two days and for 13 hours per day in the last two days. While the client download links (periafans.com) are now public, the current testing phase is a closed beta, so most eager fans must continue their wait to try the game.
