Sandbox MMO Worlds Adrift Is Drifting Away Due To Insufficient Commercial Viability

London-based indie game developer Bossa Studios has announced that the sandbox MMO Worlds Adrift will be closing down in July 2019. The game went into early access around a year ago and just never took off to fully launch. The MMO with a community-crafted world, open PvP, skyship combat and realistic physics apparently had “not captured the imagination of as many people as (the developers) needed to make it commercially viable“. Bossa cites that the ambitious nature of the project meant that “all of (their) work went into making the game work rather than making it the experience (they) wanted it to be“.

Free-to-Play PvP Brawler MRPG KurtzPel Releases On Steam For North America & South America Today

KoG Games‘ KurtzPel: Bringer of Chaos, the new fast-paced action combat brawler RPG is now available on Steam as an early access title. The game is free-to-play, but not everyone can play it yet. Today’s release is for the North American and South American regions only. Players in European and Asian regions must continue to patiently wait. KurtzPel will be playable in European regions in June and in Asian regions in July.

Multiplayer Medieval Melee Slasher ‘MORDHAU’ Is Launching On Steam On April 29th

MORDHAU is a first and third person multiplayer melee slasher set in medieval times where you can take part in 64-player brawls, castle sieges and small-scale battles. The game was successfully crowd-funded over two years ago on Kickstarter with nearly $300,000 in pledges toward the original $80,000 goal. It will be available for purchase on Steam on April 29th.

Dark and Light Adjusts Early Access Price To $17.99 As It Heads To Full Release On Steam

Snail Games has announced that the price of the the early access of Dark and Light has now been adjusted to $17.99 on the Steam store across all regions. This is not a temporary sale. It’s the new permanent price for the early access. Snail Games states that the “new price (will) better reflect what players are looking for when browsing the huge selection of games available on Steam.” The announcement includes news regarding the game’s full release as stated below.

Massive Content Expansion Coming To Neverwinter In The Spring – ‘Neverwinter: Undermountain’

Cryptic Studios is on a roll with content updates for their free-to-play action MMORPG Neverwinter. Coming this Spring, the game’s “largest expansion ever” titled ‘Undermountain’ will bring a massive dungeon under the Waterdeep, an increase in the level cap, a new end-game dungeon, new Adventure Zones, and more.

Overhaul of class powers
