Ashes of Creation Will Be At PAX East With Playable Alpha Build & Brand New Cosmetics

The indie developer Intrepid Studios will be attending PAX East in Boston and allowing players to experience Ashes of Creation‘s alpha zero build. Similar to the PAX West booth, players will be playing in guided tours across various terrains that are likely different from the areas that were available in PAX West.

For those not able to attend, Intrepid Studios will be streaming live on their Twitch channel from 11am to 4pm EST on a daily basis throughout the entirety of the event (April 5 – 8).

Black Desert Global Costume Design Contest 2018 Voting – $3,000+ Prizes

Last month Pearl Abyss started the global costume design contest for Black Desert Online. Players designed outfits in hopes of hefty cash prizes and getting their design recreated in the Black Desert world. What’s your role in all of this? You get to help decide who wins. Now the community is voting on which design submissions will win the global top prize for each region.

One user from each region (total of 10) will receive a cash prize of $3,000 USD. Those ten winners will get to compete for the title of ‘Global BEST‘ and the cash prize of 10,000 USD along with special in-game title and their design recreated as a game costume.

TERA Console Head Start Access & Free Items For Twitch Prime Members

En Masse Entertainment has teamed up with Twitch to promote the newly released console version of TERA (The Exiled Realm of Arborea). All Twitch Prime members will be receiving head start access to the game along with special rewards to help the start their journey.

The game has a focus on player vs player shoot-outs, but also featured limited MMO experience with PvE, missions, treasure hunts and even farming. Fractured

Fractured is an upcoming isometric MMORPG or ‘massively multiplayer online role-playing game’ developed by Italian game developer Dynamight Studios. The game will offer a mix of action combat and fully interactable environments to appeal to competitive and cooperative type of gameplay. More information will be released soon for this game as it nears a playable version.

Albion Online Heads Towards Steam – Launch Date Soon

As a PvP sandbox MMORPG and especially as one with an emphasis on grouping up with others for advantage in open-world PvP, Albion Online relies heavily on having a large player-base for many players to enjoy the game. Luckily Albion Online’s servers seem to be doing well in terms of player population despite the rough start during its initial months of release that were cause by large-scale DDOS attacks.

Now, its developers at Sandbox Interactive have announced that Albion Online is coming to Steam and that the game will be playable through Steam on PC, Mac, and Linux/SteamOS.

Defiance 2050 Closed Beta Will Be On April 20 – Sign Ups Available

Fans of the sci-fi action MMORPG Defiance will be able to play the overhauled reboot of the game, Defiance 2050, next month! This next chapter in the Defiance universe will have its closed beta on April 20 to 22 for PC, Xbox One and PS4 players. The game is still set for a full release in the summer of this year.

Peria Chronicles Will Have Advanced AI For NPCs To Generate Content

What’s that? You want a release date? Nope, nothing more than “possibly this” and “probably that” for now. Last we heard of Peria Chronicles, we were supposed to get some important news in December of last year and so far that’s still a no-show. Worry not however, when a date is finally announced for this game, we will let you know right away and swiftly update our Alphas, Betas and Release Dates page.

Now on to the super smart NPCs. ThingSoft, the developers of Peria Chronicles will be applying an artificial intelligence system that is currently being developed by Nexon Korea to the game’s NPCs. This AI will allow the NPCs to automatically generate missions and other content for players.

Details as to how this will work were not mentioned, but I can guess that these smart NPCs may create based on surrounding player activity. This will be a sweet addition to the list of advanced sand-box features of Peria that include player-made dungeons and player-programmed mechanisms like elevators.
