Blizzard has announced that new realms are opening up for World of Warcraft Classic when the game officially launches on Monday August 26th. Nine more realms, five for North America and four for Europe, will be added to combat the threat of terribly long queues.

In addition, Blizzard will be removing the limitation of only creation three total characters per account for WoW Classic. Players will be allowed to create up to “10 characters per Classic realm, for a total of 50 characters across all Classic realms per WoW account.”

From March 21st to 24th, all inactive World of Warcraft accounts will be upgraded, “granting returning players full access to the game and all their characters”. All returning players will be able to play even if they do not own the Battle for Azeroth expansion.

World of Warcraft’s Newest Zandalar Raid ‘Battle of Dazar’alor’ Is Coming On January 22nd

World of Warcraft is releasing its newest raid, Battle of Dazar’alor on January 22nd. Each faction will have a unique viewpoint of this new raid on Zandalar, but players will be allowed to transform into members of the opposite faction to experience both of the Alliance and Horde versions.

Horde players will defend against an invasion in the northern jungle of Zuldazar while Alliance players will launch an attack on the docks of Dazar’alor in an attempt to cut the ties between the Zandalari and the Horde.
