RuneScape-Classic-Shut-Down-Date-and-Final-Goodbyes

Jagex has announced that RuneScape Classic will be shutting down in a few months partly due to exploits. They explain that with advances in technology to further support both RuneScape and Old School RuneScape, their tools are no longer compatible with the Classic version. Jagex is giving a two and a half month heads up for players to have the opportunity to have their last goodbyes. The RuneScape Classic servers will be taken offline on August 6, 2018 8:00 AM BST. Players can continue to play as normal until that date. Meanwhile, Old School RuneScape has already begun beta testing for its mobile version and RuneScape’s mobile version is not far behind.
